ReTrans Freight launched a mobile freight tracking app that enables the small shipper to quote and track on the go.
The app, which is only available on the App Store for iOS devices, is a scaled-back version of our web portal with features that make sense in a mobile environment.
“Some of our customers have a business model where they have to go and check out a piece of freight that needs to be shipped,” ReTrans Freight Network Manager Theodore Higgins said.
Shipment Tracking was the first feature rolled out for the app and allows customers to track and find problem shipments quickly and easily. Rate Quote, another feature, resembles our customer portal rate quote screen and gives accurate quotes on the go.
